Kim Kardashian’s Hair Secret? Gorilla Snot Gel…
This is not an April fool...

This is not an April fool...
We all love an A-list haircare secret – especially when it comes from the stylists of people who just have *flawless* tresses all the time.
But this latest revelation from Kim Kardashian’s hair stylist Jen Atkin, is more, um, interesting than most.
Jen, the hair guru behind all of the Kardashian-Jenner’s sleekest ‘dos, shared Kim’s secret weapon on Snapchat - And it’s called Gorilla Snot Gel.
So WTF is it? Well, thankfully, it’s not the snot of an actual gorilla - it’s just designed to mimic that consistency. Yum.
The product is actually a brand of goopy hair gel sold mainly in the US by parent company moco de GORILA – but you can buy it by the tub on Ebay for around £4-£5.

Jen swears by it for taming flyaways, building texture when doing wave styles, and pulling everything in just so, when creating one of those artfully messy bun styles.
While those of us in the UK were all collectively ‘ewww-ing’ at the name, readers in the US will probably be having nostalgic flashbacks to being a seven year-old at the supermarket and seeing that primary-coloured, hairy monkey logo for the first time.
So it’s a beauty buy that Kim K has in her hair all the time, that costs less than a fiver?
Result. We never thought we would be so into getting snot in our hair.
