For those sunny autumn days, I'm making the most of my summer dresses while I can, choosing thicker fabrics and pairing them with cashmere jumpers and light jackets.

It’s getting colder, days are getting shorter and the summer vacation is quickly becoming a distant memory—yes, the general British autumnal malaise is about to set in. Thankfully, I’m arming myself with this powerful tube of uplifting and herbaceously fragrant aromatherapy oils, by way of Moods, that will help banish any blues. And it’s not just me reaping the benefits—I’ve been asked several times “what smells so good?”. Dear reader, this is it.

Finding a great coat has somewhat become my raison d’etre: truth be told, I really do prefer the colder months and the joy that is layering. I found great Sandro coat a few season’s ago, a full-length navy car coat that I still wear to this day but for AW26 I want something slightly shorter and in black or brown. Sadly, the budget doesn’t quite stretch to this utterly perfect Loro Piana Bigli Cashmere Coat, but I’ve found this one at Filippa K—a stalwart for great cuts and luxe fabrics that don’t cost the earth—that’ll do the job.

I’ve been putting off finding a new pair of glasses for the best part of the year—I just haven’t been able to find a style that I’d happily commit to. That was until I ventured into a Jimmy Fairly store in my local neighbourhood. I’m rather taken with these, The Napoli in Tortoise, with its clean and contemporary shape.

I've had these Dior wrap around sunglasses in my basket for the last few weeks and am going to take the plunge.  I love how a statement pair like this can add a bit of an edge to every day knitwear and jeans outfits.

This shirt and tie combo from Asos is giving MiuMiu without the price tag. I've already planned my outfits and will be styling it with pleated canvas skirts and baggy jeans and pointy kitten heels.

It might seem a little early but now is the time to be investing in boots ahead of autumn. I love the slightly worn out finish to these boots styled with a stonewash pair of jeans.

I have a feeling that dark burgundy leather is going to be everywhere in the coming months, so I plan to snap up this aubergine oversize jacket ASAP and style it over a lace-trimmed slip dress and chunky cashmere jumper.

Nothing says back-to-school style like a new pair of trousers, and these balloon cargo ones from Zara are my top pick. They feel both classic and of-the-moment—the perfect excuse for me to order them in both black and brown.

If money were no object, these epic leopard-print boots would be top of my new-season shopping list.

I implore someone I know to have a black-tie winter wedding or invite me to a glamorous event, so that I can justify buying this excellent Alémais dress.

I take my white tank tops *very* seriously; come rain or shine, you'll find me pairing one with jeans or layering it under a light jumper. This Arket ribbed top has been a key piece for me this year, feeling buttery soft and supporting all of my styling needs.

I've never been one to shy away from the occasional street style trend. However, skirts over trousers were always a strict no in my book, that was until I spotted this chocolate brown pair. They're nearly sold out, so I'm acting quickly before they're gone.

As Clementina mentioned, burgundy leather will be everywhere this season, and this handbag is an excellent entry-level option to the colour if you're looking to invest.

Russell and Bromley's AW25 collection is now available, featuring a range of key pieces for the new season. While I appreciate their classic styles, I'm choosing a bolder silhouette to add a playful twist to any everyday look.

Whistles currently have a gorgeous array of Autumn pieces in at the moment, and this cropped neutral jacket definitely caught my eye as it encapsulates the cooler season, with a timeless shape.

I absolutely love the cut of these jeans, especially around the waistband. I’ve always adored the quality of Margiela denim as they usually have a snug-yet-comfortable fit, and are always unique in their design.

These Japanese-inspired flats are fun, bold and perfect for Autumn, as I’d be able to wear either during warmer and crisper days; I’d love to pair them with a pair of horseshoe-style jeans and a crisp white shirt.

The London bag has been on my wish list for months. Crafted from supple Togo leather, this oversized slouch style is both elegant and versatile; ideal for city life, whether I’m working remotely or packing for an overnight stay. It’s the ultimate all-in-one bag.

Not one, but three of my cashmere jumpers ended up shrinking in the washing machine last year at the hands of my girlfriend (a consequence of me being too lazy to do my own laundry). So, this season I'm after cosy finds that don't cost a fortune, just in case. 

Chemena Kamali's Chloè is almost always on my mind, and this ring is up there with one of my favourite finds. Plus, it's a lot less expensive than a bag or the clothing (I'll have to wait for a bigger payday for them). 

I've just got back from the three-day stint in Denmark touring the Ecco HQ, so consider me a new major fan of the brand. One of the team members wore these heels the whole time and I couldn't take my eyes off of them—comfort is key, after all. 

'Tis the season to embrace outerwear and few finds are as chic as a classic suede jacket. However, price points for the fabric seem to have no limit, so Whistles is something of a best-kept-secret in this area. 

I'm suddenly very into V-necks. COS has a great version in grey that will go with jeans, skirts, you name it.

I've noticed quite a few gloved pumps on my travels, but this wine-coloured pair is my pick for autumn.

This skirt will be best friends with my favourite red tights.
