The LFW beauty trend you’ll want to try now
So pretty, you won’t want to wait till autumn

So pretty, you won’t want to wait till autumn
We saw it all at London Fashion Week. Easter egg pastel eyes, snogged off lips at Preen and a LOT of barefaced beauty, but no other trend did we want to copy more than this surprisingly simple, yet statement look. We’re talking about that enviable rosy flush – but this isn’t your typical pop of peach. This season, makeup artists mixed things up by using a range of poppy hues and dusting them under the cheekbones (or all over), onto the forehead and even around the eyes. Take a peek below to see the inspiration behind the AW17 looks and how to recreate them.
Sophia Webster
Makeup Artist: Terry Barber
Inspiration: Ice Queens
Get The Look: Two is always better than one, which is why Terry swept a rose and candy pink across the top and bottom of the cheeks. We love MAC Power Blush in Pink Swoon for the high points and shade Desert Rose blended onto the lower cheek.

Inspiration: Frozen under a rainbow of colour
Get The Look: Lisa called this an ‘upside down blusher’, so placement is key here. Take a really fluffy brush and sweep Benefit CORALista Face Powder across the apples of the cheeks and onto the temple in a c shape.
Shrimps
Makeup Artist: Lauren Parsons
Inspiration: Cate Blanchett in Elizabeth
Get The Look: Badly applied, and you’ll look like you’ve been sobbing into a sheet of sandpaper. For a subtle take, tap MAC Power Blush Duo onto the very tops of the cheekbone (feel for the bone just under the socket of the eye) and lightly buff out into the end of the lower lash line. Finish with a dusting of Bobbi Brown Brightening Brick for a pearlescent sheen.
Emilia Wickstead
Makeup Artist: Florrie White
Inspiration: Cool girl modern nude
Get The Look: Nothing says cool more than a brushed up brow and a confident swoosh of colour on the apples of the cheeks. How to fake a cool girl flush? Draw it on with a chunky crayon like Sisley Phyto-Blush Twist, then blend in as much or as little as you like.
