Since making their relationship official, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have travelled the globe, jetting off for not only official royal engagements but personal trips too.
Australia, Fiji, Tonga, New Zealand, Morocco, Ibiza, Canada, Ireland - you name it, they’ve been there, with their recent trip to the South of France making particular news for the private jet controversy.
There’s one place however that the couple seem to hold very dear, with Africa known to be one of Prince Harry’s favourite places to visit.
The couple visited Botswana at the start of their relationship, with Harry even using a diamond from the country as the centre of her engagement ring.
This year it has been announced that Prince Harry will be returning to Africa, this time heading to South Africa, with stops in Malawi, Angola and Botswana, and he’s not only bringing his wife Meghan Markle but his new son, Archie too.
Opening up about his excitement, Prince Harry has explained the family’s travel plans on his Instagram, and it’s lovely.
‘In just a few weeks our family will be taking its first official tour to Africa, a region of the world that over the past two decades has been a second home to me,’ he explained. ‘Our team has helped create a meaningful programme that we’re so excited to share with you.’
He continued: ‘On a personal note, I can’t wait to introduce my wife and son to South Africa! We’ll see all of you very soon.’
