Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are undoubtedly the most talked-about couple in the world, making viral news for everything from their sweet moments together to the recent private jet controversy and their new arrival, baby Archie.

In fact, it's hard to remember a time when the two weren't together, but just a few years ago this was of course the case.

And according to royal biographer Katie Nicholl, having Meghan around has not only made his life, but on a smaller scale his Sunday evenings too.

Yes, according to Katie, Prince Harry was 'lonely' before meeting Meghan, something she wrote about in her 2017 biography about him, Prince Harry: Life, Loss and Love.

Explaining how the now Duke of Sussex was lonely after Prince William and Kate Middleton tied the knot, Katie wrote: 'Harry felt detached, lonely, and "rudderless", and according to a friend he dreaded Sunday nights.'

She continued: 'He’d say "William’s got so boring," when in fact William was living the life I think Harry wanted for himself. I think he was worried he was going to be left on the shelf. He told me he hated being alone, especially on Sunday nights.

'He was happy that his brother was married and had a family, of course,' she went on to explain. 'But he missed their friendship and at points he was very, very bitter about it.'

Thanks so Meghan Markle and baby Archie, that's all history!
