This is how Charlize Theron responded to being told the Girlboss cast had 'too many girls'

The launch of Girlboss on UK Netflix is fast approaching and, frankly, we couldn't be more excited. Adapted from Sophia Amoruso's memoir, the show's main theme will (obviously) be strong, successful women, which we're all about at Marie Claire.
But apparently not everybody quite gets the concept of the show. Executive producer Charlize Theron told E! News that, while pitching the show in Hollywood, its female-heavy cast wasn't always warmly received.
'One person said to us, "There are too many girls in this"' she said.
Naturally, she was having none of it, and clapped back with a *killer* response.
'I was like, "And your problem is?"'

All hail Charlize Theron, basically.
The star later added: '[The show] had to be authentic. So if we couldn't do that I didn't want to do it. And it was nice to have a bunch of girls around me that supported that and we stood strong.
'Today, we have the show that we really wanted to make.'
Girlboss hits UK Netflix this Friday, 21st April.
