Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding day is officially here, with the couple tying the knot this weekend at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

There has been an endless string of rumours since the engagement was announced, from Meghan Markle's wedding dress designer to who will be making the royal cake. It was even announced that Prince Charles would be walking Meghan down the aisle ahead of the wedding, rather than her father Thomas Markle whose absence is due to health issues.

The big question on everyone’s lips however revolves around pricing, with fans itching to know how much a royal wedding actually costs - especially considering the star-studded guest list, with the Beckhams expected to attend and Elton John rumoured to be performing.

So, how much will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding cost?

Luckily for, well, everyone, wedding planning website Bridebook has broken down the big day, offering an estimate for the final bill - and it's pretty eye-watering.

The site has predicted that the final sum will come to approximately £1,969,873 - that's 100 times the national average FYI.

And this isn't even taking the security costs into account, which reportedly added a whopping £30 million onto the cost of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's nuptials.

Church fees – £175

Groomswear – £8,000

Hair and makeup – £10,000

Entertainment – £55,000

Wedding favours – £3,000

Toilets for guests – £35,000

The honeymoon - £120,000

But, wait, who's paying? Luckily for the Markles, the Royal Family are insisting on footing the bill - which is understandable considering they are choosing to pay £90,000 for trumpets.
