Marilyn Monroe's home has gone up for sale. The house which she lived, and tragically died, in has been put on the market by its current owners.
The Hollywood bombshell lived in a staggering 43 houses during her short lifetime but this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, house in Brentwood, California, was the only place she actually owned.
The property is described by the letting agents as a 'sprawling and very special authentic 1929 Hacienda situated behind tall gates at the end of a quiet cul de sac on over 23,000 square feet (per assessor) of tree-filled grounds.'
Marilyn Monroe purchased the pad in 1962 for $90,000 after she was advised by her psychologist to 'put down roots'.Tragically, just six months later the world-famous screen siren was found dead in the same house aged 36.
The estate agent's website doesn't specify how much the property is on the market for, but it will no doubt have increased in value since it was last bought and sold for $3.6million (£2.4m) back in 2010.
