This airline now serves Nando's onboard and what a time to be alive
PERi-PERi good news
PERi-PERi good news
From soggy reheated paninis to sweaty cheese with dry crackers, plane food has a bit of a bad rep.
But if you're planning a summer getaway with Jet2 you'll be pleased to know that Nando's is now part of the inflight menu. Yes, this is real life.
The budget airline will be serving two new items from the UK's favourite chicken restaurant, ensuring a PERi-PERi good flight.
The Nando's PERi-PERi Flight Bites are sure to be a hit with passengers, who can choose from a Nando's Box which includes houmous, PERi-PERi drizzle and salted pitta chips, or Nando's Half-Popped Corn.
Don't be too disappointed that there's no 1/2 chicken available while high in the sky. Jet2 will be putting Nando's vouchers in selected boxes, entitling someone lucky to a free Nando's when they touch down. Excellent.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: 'The addition of these two fantastic snacking options give our customers even more great choice than ever, and mean that we are the first UK airline to offer Nando’s products on our In-Flight menu.
