Who: Oscar-nominated filmmaker Liz Garbus was the perfect choice for an impressive film about Nina Simone that boasts never-before-seen footage, diary entries and interviews.
What: Wet Hot American Summer
When: 17 July
Why: If you remember the 2001 cult comedy (those shorts!) and want to see many of the original cast play characters half their age, in a prequel TV series. You heard that right. A prequel.
Who: Bradley Cooper + Amy Poehler + Paul Rudd = LOLs guaranteed.
What: Marvel's Daredevil

Why: If you’re partial to a fast-paced action flick – this mini-series may just blow your mind. They don't call it the most stunt-heavy TV series ever made, for nothing.
Who: Brit actor Charlie Cox (of Boardwalk Empire fame) plays lawyer-by-day, crime-fighter-by-night Matt Murdock / Daredevil. Sexy superhero alert.
What: Grace and Frankie

Why: It’s exec-produced by Marta (‘Friends’) Kauffman and Howard (‘Home Improvement’) Morris, it’s about two feisty frenemies (whose husbands run off together – eek!) and it stars…
Who: …Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. Golden Girls just got a 2015 cool-over.

Why: You want sci-fi weirdness (a town where a virus has wiped out everyone over the age of 21? Check), unfolding with serious intrigue (released in weekly installments – that’s a first for Netflix. Check).
Who: 22-year-old actress/country singer Jennette McCurdy is the star of the show. Watch this face.
