The Queen just got reported to the Police for this strange reason
And it’s too much.

And it’s too much.
Being the Queen has its privileges, with perks of the job including being able to drive without a licence, travelling without a passport and not having to pay tax.
However according to recent events, it looks like being the Queen doesn’t exempt you from everything, with the monarch getting reported to the police just days ago for not wearing a seatbelt.
Yes, really.
While travelling from Buckingham Palace to Westminster to deliver her speech at the State Opening of Parliament with her son Prince Charles, the Queen was reported to West Yorkshire Police for appearing to not be wearing a seatbelt in her official car.
West Yorkshire Police announced the news in a tweet, confirming that a complaint had been made and pointing out that it was in fact not an emergency and that the 999 services should not have been called.
Taking to Twitter, the Metropolitan Police posted ‘999 call received reporting that the Queen isn’t wearing a seatbelt. #not999 #norevenwestyorkshire.’

Of course Queen Liz wasn’t arrested – according to UK law, she’s immune from prosecution and criminal proceedings cannot be taken against her, but we don’t think she’d be too happy to hear about the complaint.
