Leighton Meester and Adam Brody don't get excited that Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf have ended up together

We know the pair probably hate the constant referrals to Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf but they really are the Noughties TV dream pairing.

When Leighton Meester, 31 and Adam Brody, 37, got married back in 2014, Gossip Girl and The OC fans rejoiced because they were both such iconic characters (even though it took the world a while to get over the fact Seth and Summer wouldn't get married IRL.)

And, it wasn't long before Leighton and Adam were part of our all-time favourite celebrity red carpet couples ever.

But, the pair are notoriously private and have never referred to the internet's obsession with Seth and Blair... until now...

When asked if they ever think about the fact that Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf ended up together, Adam Brody replied coyly saying, 'Occasionally.'

'Yeah, maybe occasionally,' Leighton continued. 'Not in the same way maybe you do.'

'Once a year, we have a Seth and Blair day, where we dress up,' Adam joked. 'It's good for a laugh.'

Then Leighton brought it back to reality and said: 'It doesn't excite us, I think, because we're just human beings - but it's exciting to us that it's exciting to you. It's cool.'
