A father-of-two, who was stabbed in the neck with a broken bottle at a celebrity-packed party held by Blackberry, lost his fight for life yesterday.
Phillip Sherriff, 37, suffered horrific injuries after being attacked with a bottle at the event held at Pulse nightclub in central London on Tuesday evening.
Mr Sheriff was rushed to the Royal London Hospital where doctors operated on his skull to remove pressure from the injury to his brain, but he sadly passed away yesterday morning.
His devastated wife, Jane, paid tribute to him in a statement today, saying: 'Phil was the most genuine, likeable and generous man you could ever hope to meet.
'He was a perfect husband, son and father to our daughter, aged eight, and son, aged five.
'His death is completely and utterly devastating.'
