The Fifty Shades of Grey movie could be in cinemas as early as summer 2014, according to studio bosses.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Universal Pictures Chairman Adam Fogelson said the hotly-anticipated film was the studio’s 'absolute priority', suggesting it could be in cinemas sooner than previously thought.
He said: 'I don't believe that E L James had any interest in going to a studio where rushing it into production was the vision. I don't believe that the second or third film would have benefited from that strategy.
JAMES FRANCO: I'D DO FIFTY SHADES OF GREY MOVIE! 'And I think that there are totally legitimate questions about what this book is as a movie. I will tell you that it is an absolute priority for us. It's conceivable that we could be ready to release it as early as next summer.'
Although actors and actresses such as Ryan Gosling, Emma Watson and Mila Kunis have been rumoured to take lead roles in the movie, there is still no confirmed cast.
