It's the battle of the Brit styistas in today's who wore it best, as Emma Watson and Alexa Chung fight it out for your fashion favour in matching Carven dresses.
First up, Ms Chung chose a black version of the textured frock for the Royal Academy of Arts summer soiree back in June this year.
Wearing her hair loose and characteristically dischevelled, she teamed her Peter Pan collared LBD with a classic Chanel chain strap bag and retro Mary Janes.
Fast forward five months, Emma tapped the taupe version for an appearance on the Today Show in New York, while on the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows promotional trail.
Matching her shoes to her dress, she chose towering peep-toes to complete her girly look.
So there's the evidence, now we need a verdict! Does Emma's neutral style rule the fashion roost, or do you prefer Alexa's monochrome styling? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box below.
