Royals do designer style
Princesses prove their style credentials
Princesses prove their style credentials
It's not often that we look to the royal family for style tips, but then it's not often that they're out and about in the likes of Luella and Marc Jacobs.
Gathering in London for the unveiling of a memorial statue of the Queen Mother, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie stepped out in their finest designer threads, proving their fashion forward credentials.
For Beatrice, this meant picking from the spring/summer '09 collection of one of London's hottest designers, Luella. The Princess wore the violet Florence bouclé jacket, available to buy for £565 at Net-a-Porter.com, which she teamed with a coordinating pencil skirt.
Eugenie looked to the other side of the pond for inspiration, choosing a silk tulip dress by US style star, Marc Jacobs. Wrapping up, she added a navy velvet jacket.
Stylish and contemporary, suddenly we'll be looking to the royals with new found fashion interest.
