Let's be honest, the real highlight of this awards season has been Lady Gaga's red carpet looks so far (we're calling it #gagawatch). I mean, there was that Valentino Golden Globes gown which was potentially a nod to Judy Garland.
Then there was her SAGS Dior dress which has debuted on the Paris Haute Couture runway just SIX days earlier. No biggie.
Now the team at Dior has given us a behind-the-scenes look into the creation of the dress, and it's as extra as Gaga herself.
First off, it 250 hours of work, and a whole lot of fabric. We're talking six meters of tafta, and 15 meters of fabric.
All the details you can see on the neckline and hem of the dress has also been fringed by hand.
