The Duchess of Cambridge officially ended her maternity leave yesterday, to visit Sayers Croft Forest School in Paddington, London.
She dressed casually for the occasion, opting for a Joseph blouse, layered under a green knit, paired with a khaki Fjallraven jacket. She finished off her look with a pair of Zara jeans and Penelope Chilvers boots.
It was the perfect outfit for the occasion, allowing her to play around with the kids freely, and more importantly, it shows that Kate is down to earth as she didn't feel the need to buy a new outfit for the occasion (she's worn both the boots and the jeans before).
Because after all, you wouldn't really invest in a whole new designer wardrobe to visit a school would you? And it's a refreshing way to just announce, 'I'm back, business as usual...'
It's of course not the first time Kate has reworn outfits, having previously made good use of an Alexander McQueen coat and Temperley gown.
