Helen Mirren wows at State of Play premiere
Helen Mirren was every inch the red carpet pro last night, as she gave a scene-stealing turn at the London premiere of State of Play. Oozing elegance, the 63-year-old actress arrived on the arm of co-star Russell Crow, wearing a stunning Donna Karan cream shift dress, which showed off her legendary age-defying figure.
Completing her look with a matching coat and peep-toe Jimmy Choo heels, she more than outshone her fellow attendees, although there wasn't much worthy competition.
Vying for the top spot in this week's worst dressed lists, Bianca Gascoigne plunged to a new style low. The perma-tan reality TV star arrived in a frothy pink tutu, more suited to a five-year-old's dressing up box. Definitely one of the most tragic red carpet looks we've spotted for a long time.
She wasn't the only one scoring a fashion miss. Former S Club 7 star, Hannah Spearitt, was flashing the flesh in a miniscule white T-shirt dress, teamed with brown wedge boots. Not quite a tutu, but nevertheless, we'd rather Dame Helen's old school elegance any day.
