Frances Cobain is the new face of Marc Jacobs SS17 campaign
Is there anyone cooler than Kurt Cobain’s daughter? We think not.

Marc Jacobs is always one to embrace the unconventional and push the fashion boundaries, especially when it comes to his fashion campaigns. Last season for example, Marilyn Manson and Courtney Love modelled the Autumn/Winter 2016 collection.
His latest campaign is no exception, with Love’s daughter with Kurt Cobain, Frances Bean, taking centre stage.
The designer took to Instagram (where else?) for the big reveal, explaining his decision to feature the artist.
He wrote, ‘I first met Frances Bean when she was 2 years old at a dinner with her mom (Courtney) and Anna Sui in 1994 at Bar Six in NYC.
I have always wanted to work with Frances. Her beauty, uniqueness, and strength is something I have long admired and respected.

Few things remain as constant as my continued inspiration from those whose honesty, integrity, courage, and curiosity lead them to explore and venture beyond preconceived boundaries.’
The shots, captured by David Sims, certainly capture Frances’ beauty as she models a frilly dress.
Meanwhile, Frances also gave us a sneak peek of the shoot, in which she picks OTT platform boots while wearing a Clockwork Orange. Rock ’n’ roll indeed.
