The important detail you missed on Emma Stone’s Oscars dress
Blink and you’ll miss it

Blink and you’ll miss it
What with all the drama at the 2017 Oscars (La La Land was wrongly named Best Picture in case you live under a rock), you’d be forgiven for having missed this very important detail on Emma Stone’s dress.
The actress walked the red carpet in a stunning gold beaded Givenchy dress which handily matched the Best Actress statuette she later picked up.
If you look closer, you’ll see a gold pin attached to the front bit, which represents Planned Parenthood.
As you may know, the non-profit organisation provides reproductive health services, including birth control and abortion.
One of the first decisions Donald Trump made as president was to ban funding for healthcare organisations that perform abortion, so Emma’s support is all the more poignant.
She wasn’t the only actress to turn political on the red carpet either, with the likes of Michelle Williams and Ruth Negga sporting the blue American Civil Liberties Union ribbon.
