The new face of MaxMara chats to marie claire about how she gets red carpet-ready
Elizabeth Banks is the gorgeous star of such diverse films as W and the hilarious Zack & Miri Make a Porno.
She's set to become a huge star, and recently picked up the MaxMara Face of the Future Award at the glamorous Crystal and Lucy Awards.
We grabbed five minutes with her to get the lowdown on how she gets awards-bash-beautiful.
mc: What does it mean to you to be honoured as MaxMara’s Face of the Future? EB: The honour is a real confidence boost at this point in my career. Hopefully it means somebody thinks I'll keep working.
How does it feel to be celebrated alongside the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Holly Hunter? I'm humbled and honored to be keeping company with talented ladies whom I admire.
Do you work with a stylist to get your red carpet looks just right? Sometimes. It depends on the event. I love working with a stylist but I also love having personal relationships with designers. A stylist is great for pulling together an entire outfit, accessories included, and for shaking me out of my comfort zone.
