This is the designer behind Anastasia's wedding dress in Fifty Shades Freed
The final film of the Fifty Shades franchise, Fifty Shades Freed, isn't released until February but fans are already hyped thanks to a trailer which gives a sneak peek into Christian and Anastasia's highly anticipated wedding scene.
The trailer which was released last September shows Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, played by Jamie Doran and Dakota Johnson taking their first dance together as husband and wife. It also gives us a glimpse of Anastasia's dress which sent fans into overdrive speculating about what it would be like from a different angle and who was the designer behind it.
Now after weeks of anticipation, it has finally been revealed that the designer is Monique Lhuillier. The bridal and eveningwear designer shared the news via her Instagram with the caption: 'The climactic final chapter begins Valentine’s Day. Can’t wait to unveil the dress @fiftyshadesmovie!'
Lhuillier has previously worked with the film franchise before, designing Anastasia's silky gold gown and feathered cape for the masquerade scene in Fifty Shades Darker and this time around has worked alongside the Freed costume designer Shay Cunliffe to create Anastasia's bridal gown.
The dress itself features a mermaid silhouette, plenty of white lace detailing and a giant veil. Lhuillier's list of celebrity brides includes Britney Spears, Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Conrad and Pink so you can expect to see plenty of brides-to-be adding her latest design to their inspo boards.
Fifty Shades Freed will be released on February 9th.
