Tom Ford to dress Daniel Craig for new Bond film
James Bond has got a new tailor, following 12 years of being dressed exclusively by Italian fashion house Brioni.
The new Bond film, Quantum of Solace, will see Daniel Craig dressed by Tom Ford International, the Times revealed today. A spokesperson from the film set confirmed to the paper that the former Gucci designer will now be overseeing all of Bond's custom made suits.
Brioni was the James Bond tailor since 1995, when they first dressed Pierce Brosnan for Goldeneye and Daniel Craig wore their suits for his first Bond outing, Casino Royale. The partnership was always a subtle one, with Brioni never featuring a Bond actor in their advertisements, and the designer's name never being mentioned in the films.
