It has been officially confirmed this afternoon that Prince Harry will play best man, and Pippa Middleton maid of honour at the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton in April.

The news was announced today via the British Monarchy official Facebook page.
It was also revealed that the couple will have four young bridesmaids - seven-year-old Lady Louise Windsor, Margarita Armstrong-Jones, eight, Eliza Lopez, three and Prince William's goddaughter Grace van Cutsem, also three.
They will also have two page boys - ten-year-old William Lowther Pinkerton and Prince William's godson Tom Pettifer, aged eight.
While the appointments of best man and maid of honour may come as little surprise to many - both William and Kate are notoriously close to their respective siblings - William's decision is in fact going against the royal grain, with the groom traditionally choosing a 'supporter' instead of a 'best man.'
Of course, this all means that Harry will be in charge of the stag do - so we're hoping to get something a little less subdue than the standard royal engagements!
