Project Runway host Heidi Klum strikes a pose on a bed of scissors in a promo clip for the new series

It looks a tad on the dangerous side to us, but Heidi Klum braved the sharp edges to pose on a bed of scissors to shoot an advert for the new series of Project Runway.

The model, wearing nothing but a black lace bra, matching briefs and heels, can be seen striking a series of sexy poses on the metal objects to film the advert for the 10th season of the reality TV show, of which she hosts.

In a nod to the design process involved in the competition, Heidi, who split from husband Seal in January after seven years of marriage, also clutches a couple of pairs of scissors close to her super-toned body in the racy shoot.

Project Runway hits TV screens in the US on Thursday 19th July on Lifetime.
