Victoria and David Beckham have been seriously splashing out on Christmas decorations, according to new reports.
The stylish couple are said to have totted up an £50,000 bill at London’s prestigious department store, Fortnum & Mason, to deck out the mansion they’re currently living in.
According to Contactmusic, Victoria and David opted for three large Christmas tress, two smaller ones and a haul of designer accessories that reportedly ‘look like diamonds’.
While we don’t expect anything but the best for the Beckham family, the British designer has been showing off her humorous festive side on Twitter.
As well as decorating a bright pink Christmas tree (her fashion tree, as we like to think of it), the mum-of-four shared a snap of one sorry looking fern with patriotic tinsel draped over it.
She captioned the hilarious snap: 'It's nice to make an effort at Christmas.'
As well as splashing out in Fortnum’s, Victoria has apparently ordered her personal assistant to hit the shops of New York and Paris to find the perfect decorations, including Swarovski crystal stars said to cost £1,500 each.
But as elaborate as we expect the Beckham’s Christmas decorations will be, a £70,000 holiday to the Caribbean should set even this family back on the tinsel front.
