Ariana Grande hosted a benefit concert in Manchester on Sunday night, just two weeks after her Manchester Arena gig was targeted by a suicide bomber, leaving 22 dead.
The ‘One Love’ concert was put together in a week, raising money for the victims of the terrorist attack and bringing together the people of Manchester.
Among the performers were Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Take That, Robbie Williams, Imogen Heap, the Black Eyed Peas, Niall Horan, Little Mix and even Liam Gallagher.
The concert brought in a 50,000-strong crowd and raised over £2 million for the victims and families, praised by the music industry for its fitting tribute.
Lady Gaga was one of the first to take to social media to show her support, tweeting ‘Such a beautiful tribute @ArianaGrande & many others paid to #ManchesterVictims & those who love them. A reminder to lead with kindness’, while Ed Sheeran tweeted his love to everyone there.
However, it was Selena Gomez’s response that got people talking, with the 24-year-old quick to praise everyone involved in the concert, paying special attention to Justin Bieber, her long-term ex boyfriend.

While appearing on Sirius XM’s Morning Mash Up the following morning, she was asked about Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester concert.
‘It was beautiful,’ she announced. ‘I thought everyone did such a beautiful job. It was so gorgeous. I love how [Ariana] ended it. I thought Justin did great. It was really beautiful.’
Justin and Selena fans have been going wild, taking it as a sign that there’s hope for the two to get back together, or at the very least have some peace between them.
