The actress told us exactly what we didn't want to to hear about the rumours of the another S&TC film

Sarah Jessica Parker had some very bad news to share on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday.

As expected, the question of Sex And The City 3 came up - and SJP's answer sent us swirling into a deep depression.

Okay, that's maybe a bit dramatic - but she did say that a third instalment is probably not happening. At least not anytime soon.

'I've tried to make up some interesting answers every time I've been asked this question lately,' she said. 'And the truth of the matter is there has been no real conversation about a third movie at all.

Wait a minute. Didn't the actress just say a few months ago that there's another chapter left to tell

It definitely doesn't sound good. If there were plans to make a third film, we're guessing SJP would be the first to know.

Then again, she could be purposely misleading us to keep the big announcement a surprise.... Yes, let's go with that theory.
