The 34-year-old actor opened up for the first time on his divorce from Scarlett Johansson
While his ex-wife might be hooking up with Sean Penn, Ryan Reynolds has revealed he's in no rush to start dating again, following his divorce from Scarlett Johansson in December last year.
The usually private star opened up to Details magazine about the healing process that's taken place over the last six months, and how he doesn’t think he’ll be getting married again anytime soon.
'I have no interest in dating right now,' he told up to the mag. 'It just seems so kind of alien to me at this point ... I don't think I want to get married again.'
The Green Lantern leading man admitted that his divorce, though not messy, had been extremely painful.
‘Anyone who gets divorced goes through a lot of pain… But you come out of it. I'm not out of it yet. At all.’
Ever the optimist, he did offer some sign that he was moving on: ‘Relationships ending move you from who you were to who you are at a much more accelerated rate than almost anything else on earth,' he explained.

'Any kind of crisis can be good. It wakes you up. I gotta say, I'm a different person that I was six months ago.'
When the pair wed in Canada in January 2008, they famously refused to talk about their relationship to the media and avoided being seen together. The media circus following their shock split after two years was extremely difficult for the attention-shy actor.
'I'll say this: The media wasn't invited to my marriage, and they're definitely not invited into the divorce,' he said.
'What was happening privately was the exact opposite of what was being reported. There was no story and no scandal, so the narrative was just created for me. That was the most disturbing part. I wasn't angry. I absolutely predicted every beat of it,' he said of the salacious stories that surrounded the couple immediately after the split.
Like his on-screen personas though, Ryan was able to crack some jokes in his heartfelt interview.
'There was a time, though, when looking at the Internet was a miracle cure for feeling good about myself.'
