The usually calm Twilight star has hit back at Kurt Cobain's ex, branding reports he's set to play the rocker as 'ridiculous'
After being attacked by rocker Courtney Love on Twitter, Twilight star Robert Pattinson has hit back at the Hole singer, branding her claims he's set to play Kurt Cobain, 'ridiculous'.

In an out of character move, the usually calm star defended himself against one of Courtney's notorious Twitter tirades in a new interview.
The spat first started when Courtney took to the social networking site to air her view on Robert Pattinson's supposed Kurt Cobain role in a new biopic, telling followers he was 'wrong' for the part.
'Isn’t that so stupid, who would cast him? That’s just wrong, no offense' Courtney furiously Tweeted.
But now Rob has hit back at the Hole singer's claims, revealing he was never even offered a part in the film.
'Sometimes these things just appear' R-Patz told the Mirror of the rumours.
'I love Nirvana, but I love them a bit too much – I’d be embarrassed.
'And you see all these comments, like from Courtney Love, saying "What the f***! He’s totally wrong for it", and I’m like, "I f****** said no, you d**k!" I didn’t get offered it.'
Ouch.
'For one thing, I’m too tall, and I can’t sing like him, I’m nothing like him!’ It’s ridiculous,' Rob added.
It's not yet known who will take the lead in the Kurt Cobain biopic, but rumours suggest Scarlett Johansson could be set to play Courtney Love.
