Yesterday, the world met Baby Sussex for the first time, and so did the Queen. The Royal Family shared the first picture of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex presenting baby Archie to Prince Philip and HRH, as well as Meghan's mum Doria Ragland on Twitter.
The caption read, 'The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were introduced to the newborn son of The Duke & Duchess of Sussex at Windsor Castle. Ms Doria Ragland was also present. The Duke & Duchess of Sussex are delighted to announce that they have named their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.'
For the occasion, the Queen wore a powder blue cardigan, which might well have been a subtle tribute to her latest great-grandson.
The monarch was seen smiling down at Harry's 'bundle of joy' in the heart-warming portrait.
Meanwhile, Meghan looked gorgeous in a button down white Givenchy dress, a nice little nod to both her wedding dress and her engagement dress.
They might all be coincidences, but we like the idea that both outfits had a special meaning to the women who wore them.
