Prince Philip was hiding a pretty serious injury at the Royal Wedding

You wouldn't have known
Along with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip was of course at the royal wedding this month, but unbeknown to us, he was actually injured on the day.
The Duke of Edinburgh, who turns 97 next month, retired from official public duties last summer, recently undergoing surgery on his hip just weeks before the wedding.
But as well as recovering from the surgery, it turns out Prince Harry's grandfather was reportedly nursing another injury when he attended the nuptials.
He was in fact suffering from a broken rib on the day of the ceremony, but didn't give anything away, handling the whole thing like a true professional.
According to The Sun, the Duke had cracked his rib after slipping in the bath tub.
'The Duke is not a fan of showering and prefers to bathe,' a source told the paper. 'But he’s a determined man and nothing was going to stop him attending nor would he take any kind of walking aid.'

We already thought it remarkable that the Duke walked unaided following his surgery, but now we're even more impressed.
Hats off to him!
