Blake Lively was at the God's Love We Deliver, Golden Heart Awards in New York.

A pregnant Blake Lively debuted her baby bump on the red carpet in New York last night.

Wearing a shimmering stretch tulle Michael Kors gown, the actress attended the God's Love We Deliver, Golden Heart Awards in New York. Other attendees included Halle Berry, Anna Wintour, Chanel Iman, Gigi Hadid and Anja Rubik.

It was the first time Blake, 27, had hit the red carpet since announcing her pregnancy on her Preserve website earlier in the month, and, boy oh boy, did she look radiant.

Never one to put a sartorial foot wrong, it doesn't seem like maternitywear is going to cause any problems for the always stylish Blake.

Speaking about the challenges of dressing her new baby bump, Blake told US Weekly: 'I'm going to amp up my style by wearing things that are stretchier, cause that’s all that fits!'

Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, have made no secret of their dream to start a family, and last night the star explained why she feels ready to be a parent.

'I came from a big family, a big family of Southerners,' she told E! News. 'I'm the youngest of five, so I never raised any siblings below me, but I'm always the person who's taking everyone else's kid and putting them on my hip, so I've kinda always been a mama. So we'll see.'
