The songstress sported a new inking when she stepped out at rehearsals earlier this week, but what is it?
Cheryl Cole’s made no secret of her love of body art. And earlier this week the songstress unveiled a brand new tattoo on the small of her back, as she stepped out at X Factor rehearsals.

It’s thought the star already has seven or eight inkings, including a tribal design on her hand, a barbed wire around her thigh, and the words Mrs C on the back of her neck.
But it seems she decided to add another to the collection, with new artwork on her lower back.
It’s thought Cheryl’s latest tattoo has been added to the butterfly tattoo she already has on her back, and could be the second part of a pattern she had inked on her thigh while out in LA earlier this year.
‘I designed it myself with the help of an artist and had it done to symbolise a new beginning,' she told the Mirror of her new tattoo at the time.
'I am ready to move on, make a fresh start. It starts on my thigh and it goes all the way up.'
A spokesman to the star confirmed she’d had a new tattoo, but didn’t say what the swirly design was.
But friends say the inking has special significance. 'This one is extremely personal to her, that's why she got it done,' one pal revealed.
