Gwyneth Paltrow blames paparazzi for driving Britney 'insane'
Gwyneth Paltrow has accused the paparazzi of sending Britney Spears 'insane'.
According to Digital Spy, the mum-of-two spoke out against the media circus surrounding Spears, blaming them for the troubled star's recent emotional breakdown.
Gwyneth, who is no stranger to adverse press attention – her own marriage to Coldplay singer Chris Martin has been scrutinised – said: 'Look at what they've done to Britney. The paparazzi and magazines have blood on their hands. They literally made her go insane.
'She's got classic Stockholm Syndrome - she fell in love with a paparazzo and went insane. The photographers and editors of these magazines have such bad karma. It's pretty dark.'
The star and her mother, Blyther Danner, both recently quashed press reports that her marriage was in trouble, branding the rumours 'ridiculous'.
