Naomi Campbell has emergency stomach operation
Naomi Campbell was yesterday rushed to hospital for an emergency operation to remove a stomach cyst.
The 37-year-old model was flown to Sao Paolo in Brazil from Britain to undergo the five-hour pinhole surgery, and is said to be ‘recovering well’.
Her spokesman said: ‘Naomi Campbell was admitted to hospital to have a small cyst removed.
‘Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work.’
Dr Jos Aristodemo Pinotti, who reportedly operated on Naomi at the Sirio Libanes Hospital on Monday night at 10pm, said: ‘It was an emergency operation, but everything went well.
‘There were no incidents or any problems that worried me during surgery – [she] is completely cured.’
