On the eve of Valentine's Day, The Saturdays singer Mollie King and model boyfriend David Gandy have ended their relationship, citing their 'busy schedules' as the cause. CELEBRITY SPLITS 2011
According to The People, the genetically blessed pair, who have been dating for ten months, broke up last week as a result of their hectic schedules.
Gandy told a reporter: 'Sadly me and Mollie have split. It just wasn't the right timing and we were both so busy.
'I have been over in the States three times this month and a relationship can't take that.'
He added: 'Mollie is an incredibly beautiful, lovely girl and so grounded. But it just didn't work out. Maybe in a few years when we are at different stages in our career we can make it work.'
The notoriously private couple, who made their red carpet debut as a duo last May at Marie Claire's Inspire & Mentor Party, seemed to be going strong in recent months, with reports circulating that they were planning to relocate to Mumbai together, where Gandy hoped to open a hotel.

The super-hunk recently said: 'We don't need to worry about the future when we'll be spending the next 40 years together. I can definitely see us lasting that long.'
Mollie joins fellow Saturdays singer Vanessa White in spending Valentine's Day as a single gal. Fellow bandmate Una Healy is expecting a baby with rugby star fiancé Ben Hoden, Rochelle Wiseman recently got engaged to JLS singer Marvin Humes and Frankie Sandford is happily dating footballer Wayne Bridge.
