Malin Akerman and husband Robert Zincone have welcomed a bouncing baby boy, the delighted pair revealed today.

The Rock of Ages actress took to Twitter to share her happy news, describing her 'joy' at the new addition to the family.

'My husband and I welcomed our beautiful, healthy baby boy to this world this morning! Biggest joy of my life!!! #lovemykid' the actress wrote on the social networking site.

'PS and his name is … Sebastian Zincone :) )) Love him more than life itself!! #whatafeeling !!!'

After announcing news of the pregnancy in September last year, the Malin Akerman joked to E! News: 'My husband and I have been talking about it for the past 10 years that we’ve been together, so it’s about time.'
