The star reveals her dramatic new career move in a radio interview
We're no stranger to Lily Allen changing her style - and even her hair - on a regular basis, but now the star has dropped a new bombshell, claiming she wants to change her career.
In an interview with Radio One, Lily announced a gig in March next year as her last for the foreseeable future.
The star confirmed she'll be taking ‘at least two years' away from the music business to concentrate on acting and fashion.
Lily revealed exciting plans to set up her own fashion boutique, which will also allow people to hire outfits.
The singer's new store will be a joint venture with her sister, and the fashion-forward pair plan to call it Lucy In Disguise.
‘It's about making fashion democratic,' Lily said. 'That's the idea behind it.

‘It's about getting really nice clothes but letting people rent them for affordable prices so they can go out and feel like a million dollars and it won't cost them a million dollars.'
Lily had her first foray into fashion back in 2007 when she designed a collection for New Look, so it comes as no surprise that she wants to move into the industry full time.
And the singing starlet has started many a trend in her time.
Since she was spotted wearing these patterned tights recently, similar pairs have been flying off shelves all around the country.
What do you think of Lily's new career move? Could fashion be fun, or should she stick to singing? Let us know your verdict in the comments box below.
