Lena Dunham is known for taking bold fashions risks, and she certainly doesn't shy away from sequins - or cleavage.
The Girls star went for full-on glamour at the Point Foundations Point Honors Gala in New York City on Monday night. Dressed in a long-sleeved copper Marc Jacobs gown, the 27-year-old actress-writer struck a confident pose on the red carpet.
After the event, Lena took to Instagram to share the fashion details of her ensemble. 'My first excuse to carry my @charlotte_olympia clutch in public!' she wrote, holding up her colourful Girls-themed accessory.

She added: 'To the very inspiring @pointfoundation honors. I save my sequins for when I know the gay boys will be out #traffickinginstereotypes
Lena also gave a playful shot-out to her gown's designer. 'And thank you @marcjacobsintl for giving me boob I could use,' she wrote.
