The Glee star stepped out in public for the first time since Cory Monteith's tragic death last month and has revealed how she's coping
Lea Michele has revealed how she's coping following the shock death of her boyfriend and Glee co-star to a heroin and alcohol overdose last month.
Taking to her Twitter feed for only the second time since she lost Cory Monteith, the actress said: 'Spending the day surrounded by great friends.. Hope you all are having a good day.. Sending lots of love to you all.'
Yesterday, Lea was spotted out in public for the first time since news of Cory's death broke around the world. She was photographed In Los Angeles sitting in a car with a friend while wearing an all-black outfit and her favourite gold and crystal-encrusted 'Cory' necklace.
On Monday, Lea broke her Twitter silence, sharing an intimate picture of herself with Cory from her personal photo album, alongside a heartfelt message to her fans and supporters. She said: 'Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart.'
It's been confirmed that Lea WILL be returning to season 5 of Glee. Production on the show will begin next month, a little later than planned, and the third episode of the season will be a special tribute to Cory Monteith. The show will then take a break while the show's creator Ryan Murphy decides the fate of the show.
