The feisty singer’s landed her first role – a cameo in the hit US sitcom
Feisty singer Katy Perry is set to make her first foray into acting, after landing a part in hit US sitcom, How I Met Your Mother.

It’s thought the Fireworks singer – who landed not one, but two prestigious prizes at the glittering People’s Choice Awards earlier this week – will guest star as Honey in an episode of the show, set to be broadcast later this year.
Katy character will reportedly star as the cousin of Zooey, played by Jennifer Morrison, with rumours circling that she could also be a love interest for Ted, Josh Radnor.
And bosses are thrilled to have her on board.
'Katy is a tremendous talent and we are delighted to be able to work with her,' executive producer Carter Bays revealed, confirming her upcoming appearance on the show.
Katy’s not the first famous face to grace the comedy hit. Jennifer Lopez, Rachel Bilson and Britney Spears have all appeared on the show, since it began in 2005.
