Kate Middleton's subtle anniversary nod through her jewellery
Kate Middleton and Prince Williams' wedding anniversary is just a few days away (29th April) and the Duchess seems to already be discreetly celebrating the landmark.
She attended the Easter Sunday service at Windsor Castle this weekend alongside the rest of the family, minus Meghan Markle, who is due to give birth any day now.
For the occasion, which was also Queen Elizabeth's birthday, Kate wore a pair of diamond earrings, but not just any earrings.
The diamond drop earrings were the ones she wore on her wedding day eight years ago, and were a gift from her parents. They were custom made by jeweller Robinson Pelham, and according to HELLO!, are especially meaningful to Kate.
They said, 'The super glam jewels are particularly unique as they were styled after the Middleton coat of arms—incorporating oak leaves and acorns.'
She wore them this weekend with a pale blue Alexander McQueen coat dress, which she wore to the same occasion five years ago. It's also incidentally the fashion house behind her now famous wedding dress.
It seems she has come full circle.
