Julia Roberts vows never to strip for a film role
Julia Roberts has vowed never to strip off for a movie – because it’s not real acting.
The A-list actress – who shot to fame as a scantily-clad prostitute in Pretty Woman – believes actresses who bare all in films are not staying true to their art.
‘I wouldn't do nudity in a film,’ she says. ‘To act with my clothes on is a performance. To act with my clothes off is a documentary.’
The star – who is mum to three-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus, and six-month-old son, Henry – says, these days, she’s not so confident about her sex appeal, and even had to be coaxed into wearing a bikini in her new film, Charlie Wilson’s War.
She told OK! magazine: ‘I'm too tall to be a girl. I wouldn't call myself a woman. I'd say I'm somewhere between a chick and a broad.’
