A rep for the pair confirmed the end of their eight-month romance today
Twilight actress Ashley Greene and Disney star Joe Jonas have ended their relationship, a rep for the pair has reportedly confirmed.
It’s thought the hot young couple went their separate ways 'weeks ago,' after struggling to fit a relationship around their hectic work schedules.
And today a spokesman for the pair confirmed the split, to celebrity website JustJared.
Reports suggest the break-up was ‘amicable’, and the pair want to remain friends, but reveal that with Ashley spending her time filming Breaking Dawn in Vancouver, and Joe in New York or LA, they grdually 'drifted apart.'
‘It was mutual and amicable,’ one source told the NYPost, adding they ‘drifted apart because of their work schedules.’

Whispers of a romance between the pair started last summer, after the beautiful twosome were spotted on a string of romantic dates around LA.
Last month, Joe suprised Ashley with a vintage Chanel bracelet on her 24th birthday, before they partied the night away at celebrity nightspot Pure, in Las Vegas.
And Joe was quick to opened up on the romance in an interview with Details magazine, gushing about his (now ex!) girlfriend.
‘I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first,’ he revealed. ‘She understands my busy schedule.’
Maybe not.
Last year Ashley split with actor Brock Kelly, while Joe was involved in a messy break-up with Disney star Demi Lovato.
