Jason Donovan marries in a surprise ceremony in Bali
Jason Donovan has finally tied the knot with his long-term lover Angela Malloch in a surprise ceremony in Bali.
The former Neighbours actor, who turned 40 yesterday, convinced friends and family to join him for an early birthday celebration on the Indonesian paradise island, only for them to discover they would actually be attending his wedding.
The couple tied the knot in front of Jason’s dad, Terence Donovan, and their children, Jemma, 8, and Zac, 7.
A friend said: ‘It was a surprise for everyone. Guests flew in from around the world - London, Australia, LA.'
The I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! runner-up met Malloch 10 years ago when she worked as stage manager on the touring production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show in which Donovan played transsexual Dr. Frank-N-Furter.
Donovan’s private, low-key real-life wedding was in contrast to his on-screen nuptials to Kylie Minogue - when the pair played sweethearts Scott Robinson and Charlene Mitchell in Neighbours – which attracted a record 19.1 million viewers in the UK alone.
