A representative for comic Jack confirmed the news today
We have sad news about Jack Whitehall and Gemma Chan today. The couple have split, after six years together.
Jack, 29, and 35-year-old Gemma started dating in 2011, after meeting on the set of Fresh Meat. But a representative for Jack has now confirmed to Metro that they went their separate ways in September.

Their 'hectic schedules' are said to be behind the break-up, and they're reportedly 'remaining good friends'.
A source tells The Sun: ‘For the past couple of years they’ve both been finding it difficult to make proper time for one another and, with their schedules showing no signs of slowing down, have decided to go their separate ways.
‘It’s sad but they remain supportive of one another.’

It's true that the pair have been very busy over the past few months. Actress Gemma is filming the third series of hit Channel 4 show Humans, while comedian Jack has starred in shows including Travels With My Father and A League Of Their Own.
He's also preparing to host the BRIT Awards in February.
