Glenn Close crams a host of carrots in her mouth for laughs on TV
Glenn Close revealed she has a great sense of humour on an American chat show this week – by stuffing her mouth choc-full of carrots.
Close's choice of products to stuff her mouth with was a little ironic since she is best known for her bunny-boiling character in 80s hit Fatal Attraction.
The 62-year-old started out by explaining on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show how her daughter Annie once managed to put 42 carrots in her mouth in an impromptu contest at a family gathering. Jimmy said: 'I've got to come to a party at your house, that's awesome.'
He then challenged the star to do it on-air - and she did so, with aplomb, fitting a least a dozen carrots in.
Jimmy only managed about seven, before collapsing in a fit of giggles.
Glenn was on the show to promote the US series finale of her critically-acclaimed programme Damages, which last year won three Emmy Awards.
