FIRST LOOK! Daniel Radcliffe’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows countdown message

It’s just 50 days until the first of the final films is released. And now the star’s released a special video message to fans, and reveals what he’s looking forward to most about the final two films

The countdown is on! With just 50 days to go until the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry himself (well, Daniel Radcliffe, actually) has released a special video message to fans, revealing some of his favourite moments from the famous films.

The star – who’s currently shooting chilling flick, The Woman In Black – pays tribute to the cast and crew in the short speech, emotionally telling fans: ‘I’ve made some of the best friends I could ever wish for on these films.’

He also talks of his pride in the Harry Potter series, and how he can’t quite believe the franchise is finished.

‘When I look back at all those years – 10 to be precise – I can’t quite put into words what it’s all meant,’ Dan reveals.

‘I’ve made some of the best friends I could ever wish for on these films, both the cast and the crew, and obviously I’ve grown up on film.

‘I’m so proud that the series is going to end in such a spectacular way.’
